Personal Identity

If you are reading this, your life has already shifted toward the journey to your authentic self. It is often invisible, hidden beneath the dictates of society and those around us. But it is there to be revealed. And you have to power to reveal it.

Power is unrelated to the outside world. It is totally related to what is inside you. It is about the way you handle your own energy, what you allow and what you don't. It is about controlling your own life. It is about accepting change and not fearing it.

It is exhausting to pretend to be something you are not. It is a waste of your time and energy. Pretending to be someone you are not starts with the exterior and leads to the interior — a comb-over of the soul.

Being authentic frees up time and energy. After you have accepted yourself, then learn to accept other people the way they are rather than expecting them to be where you are on your journey.

We think that maintaining the status quo is safe, but it is not. Risk is about feeling what is right, stepping through the fear and doing what must be done. We are never "safe" and by staying in a situation that no longer serves us, we are not safe we are stagnant.

This is a life-changing process that will align your true essence — the reason you are on the planet with the way you live all facets of your life. We have no control over what the universe brings to us. We only have control over the choices that we make.

You must purge the old to make space for the new. Edit out your life until all that remains is what is right and essential.

The development of your personal identity is synonymous with the development of your personal growth. It is about your style of living and affects every aspect of the way you operate in the world.

The real essence of a person including the work that they are here to do, the relationships they are here to mend, can only be revealed. We live in a world that demands instant gratification, which like junk food does not nourish the body or the soul, and soon leaves us looking for the next fix.

Our vision of ourselves is shaped by a society in which we are bombarded with unattainable images of tall, thin, blonde, youthful and white perfection, blocking us from developing a true identity. But we are all unique and wonderful human beings.
