Fredda Bio

It is often said that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, but the saying is rarely so well embodied in life as it is with the work of Fredda, a 21st Century visionary.

She has moved image consulting into a new field of personal identity and combined it with business identity as a vehicle for personal growth and self-actualization.

Using outward appearance as they key to the inner being, she has worked with hundreds of clients as a lecturer and seminar leader.

“My background,” she says, “has always enabled me to merge the artistic and the practical. Part of this may come from the fact that I am the daughter of a lawyer father and artist mother. But before my father were seven unbroken generations of Orthodox rabbis, which may be one reason I see my work as my calling.”

Fredda has devoted herself to empowering people to take control of their personal self-presentation and style of living on one level, while penetrating the deeper layers of self-evaluation and realization in the process.

As the owner of photography studios and salons, Fredda worked with a wide variety of clients from CEOs and musicians to housewives, including anchors and reporters at Chicago’s Channel 5 News.

Advertising and photography clients have included Marshall Field, The Limited, Jockey, Alberto Culver, Helene Curtis, Playboy, Montgomery Ward and Sears. For many years she was involved in photographing the international polo scene and celebrities such as H.R.H. Prince Charles, Mick Jagger, Frank Zappa, and David Bowie.

She served as consultant to corporations, training senior executives, management teams and employees.

Her studio is a source of empowerment and training, where she does personal and business consulting, hosts seminars and women’s groups and offers internships to students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Illinois Institute of Art, and Columbia College Chicago.

She is writing a book, “In Your Own Image: Designing a Wardrobe for the Soul™,” based on the philosophy and process she developed over the course of over twenty years in business.

Working with Fredda can illuminate, challenge and even shake up your reality as she empowers you to excavate your innate strengths, beauty and authenticity.
